New SVdP Georgia and SVdP USA Programs
Marillac Moms
Inspired by St. Louise de Marillac, cofounder of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Marillac Moms is a new SVdP Georgia program helping pregnant single mothers and their children move toward greater stability and independence.

St. Peter Chanel will sponsor a Marillac Mom through a parish-wide effort, offering encouragement, practical support, and the caring presence of our parish community.
Prison Immersion Program
The Immersion program provides access to SVdP resources available throughout the United States for for returning citizens in need of critical supportive wrap-around services. With Catholic Social Teaching at the core of our spiritual beliefs, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s IMMERSION program expands our work in systemic change initiatives to end poverty by focusing on assisting a large demographic we serve, our returning citizen brothers and sisters in Christ, and their families.

This new program is now launching in Georgia. Provide support and mentoring to inmates before and after they are released from prison for the first year. Volunteers in this program seek to offer help with employment, housing, transportation, and other challenges.

Annual Retreat
A day of prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual growth for our conference.
Donation Drive
We collect parishioner donations to support SVdP Ga thrift stores during a fall weekend. Many parish and SVdP volunteers are needed.
In December, our parish with SVdP come together to bring  Christmas cheer to our neighbors and supports many other local charities.
Neighbor Retreat
As Vincentians, we attend retreats to strengthen our faith and draw closer to the Lord. We try to offer a similar experience to our neighbors.
SVdP Feast Day Celebration
In September, we celebrate the feast day of our patron saint, St. Vincent de Paul
Christmas Celebration
Our conference celebrates the season and another year of serving our neighbors through the generosity of our parish.
National Conference
An annual gathering open to all SVdP Conferences, hosted in a different location each year.
SE Regional Conference
Annual Southeast Regional conference in June. Location rotates through SE states in our region.
Spring to Life
Annual SVdP Georgia conference offered in March in the Atlanta area.Â
